Protocol visualization¶
QVTM concepts require a stable diagram language.
Canonical entities¶
| Concept | Shape | Primary treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Anchor | Diamond-derived node | White or cyan outline |
| Identity | Chamfered node | Magenta edge |
| Relationship | Directed edge | Violet-to-cyan current |
| Evidence | Attached document plate | Neutral surface |
| Witness | Smaller adjacent node | White outline |
| Revocation | Broken red edge | Explicit label |
| Historical record | Muted node | Reduced opacity |
| Verification event | Cyan pulse or marker | Timestamp visible |
Diagram rules¶
- always include a legend when more than three state types appear
- use arrows only where direction has protocol meaning
- show time explicitly when temporal validity matters
- distinguish absence of evidence from failed verification
- keep diagrams comprehensible in monochrome print
