Design principles
Geometry of Trust translates the structural principles of QVTM into interfaces, diagrams and visual communication.
The following principles govern every product, document and interface in the Infinitrust ecosystem.
They are not stylistic preferences. They are decision-making rules.
1. Reveal structure¶
Relationships must remain visible.
Users should understand what relates to what, where evidence originated and how the current state was reached.
- Show how a verified state was produced.
- Keep evidence connected to its source.
- Use explicit labels for inferred or historical relationships.
- Reduce complex trust states to a decorative checkmark.
- Hide provenance behind secondary navigation.
- Present inferred relationships as confirmed facts.
2. Use light as information¶
Light communicates state.
Glow, direction and illumination carry semantic meaning. They are never added only to make an interface appear futuristic.
Magenta backlight
Source, ownership, identity and origin.
Cyan edge light
Active proof, successful validation and verified relationships.
White top light
Clarity, neutral emphasis and detailed inspection.
Yellow signal
Review, pending action and non-destructive warnings.
Red signal
Revocation, invalid evidence, failure and destructive actions.
Light must always reinforce a visible boundary, label or state. Never rely on glow alone.
3. Prefer engineered forms¶
Components should feel constructed.
Controls and surfaces derive their proportions and cuts from the logo geometry.
Top-left and bottom-right chamfers create a precise, directional form.
Generic rounded pills weaken the system's architectural character.
Shape rules¶
Strong chamfers
Primary controls use the most visible top-left and bottom-right cuts.
Restrained chamfers
Content surfaces use smaller cuts so geometry does not compete with information.
Restricted use
Fully rounded forms are reserved for tags, counters and compact status indicators.
4. Keep effects subordinate¶
Meaning must survive without effects.
A user must understand the interface when gradients, glow, transparency and animation are removed.
Both examples must remain understandable.
Effects may add atmosphere, focus or continuity. They may not carry essential meaning by themselves.
5. Differentiate protocol and platform¶
One foundation. Two expressions.
QVTM and Infinitrust share the same system without being presented as the same product.

Both products use the same typography, geometry, spacing, semantic colors, accessibility requirements and protocol notation.
